Jerry Kozubal has been the Secretary of the Manitoba Taxicab Board since 2001.  In 2002 the Taxicab Board made the use of in-cab cameras and taxicab shields mandatory in all 430 standard and accessible taxicabs.  Since the introduction of the in-cab cameras in Winnipeg, crimes such as assaults and robberies against taxicab drivers have been reduced by 79 %.

As Director of Transportation Boards, Jerry is responsible for the administration of 5 transportation boards under the Government of Manitoba.  These boards include the Taxicab Board, Motor Transport Board, Highway Traffic Board, Licence Suspension Appeal Board and the Medical Review Committee.
